We welcome guests seeking an authentic outback luxury escape and to share our unique, historic and truly Australian part of the world.
Corynnia Station is a expansive 17,000 acre working station producing high quality Merino wool and meat.
Our irrigated cropping programme includes cotton, grains and sheep fodder, all using technologically advanced methods.
Your Hosts, Bruce and Julie Armstrong arrived at Corynnia Station in 1982 as newly weds. Since then they have worked tirelessly with unwavering dedication, passion and vision to transform it from a once rundown proposition to the well managed farm, garden oasis, splendid country homestead and accommodations where we welcome our guests today.
As the station was developing, Julie also fulfilled her creative flair by establishing her own high fashion businesses whilst she and Bruce nurtured three wonderful children. Their son Hamish, who is third generation, is working and living along side them with his wife and their first grandson – a budding fourth generation!
Julie’s creative flair is clearly evident in all the unique guest accommodations where all decor boasts its history and has been personally hand chosen both in Australia and on their world travels.
As featured on Better Homes and Gardens, Postcards and Sydney Weekender, they welcome their guests to share their home and something of themselves – their stunning outback garden homestead oasis with pool, tennis court, friendly animals, native fauna and flora, bush walking, push bikes, campfires, farm and cotton gin tours in season and breathtaking 360 degree skies where you feel you can almost touch the stars.
Discover the 1100 acre dry box designated nature reserve swamp during cooler months. Observe the bio-diversity of flora and fauna that has been catalogued by visiting scientists.
Visiting bird-watchers have also catalogued the vast array of birds in and around the Homestead garden oasis so bring your binoculars and tele lenses!
Fly-in guests are welcomed on the two on-property airstrips, one being 850m long adjacent to the homestead and accommodations and the other 1600m long. In addition to his passion for agriculture, Bruce is fascinated by aircraft and flying and when the opportunity arises he is keen to chat on the terrace or around the campfire with fellow pilots. He has a private pilot licence and is the proud owner of a 1968 Cessna 172.
Julie and Bruce love their many pets. Bruce is especially attached to his invaluable working kelpies who are his best mates along with his mini poodle, Ted….the odd couple. Julie and Bruce are a soft touch with orphans of all types….with fur, wings or legs! They have nurtured innumerable orphans of many types over the years who have all returned to the wild and enjoy living in close proximity. Corynnia Station is pet friendly by request so see our Pet Reservation Page to make your pet booking.
