Pet Reservation Information

We understand that sometimes we choose to travel with our pets and, as animal lovers, we welcome your four legged mates and there is lots of outdoor space for you to enjoy with your dog during your visit.

Most guests who travel with their pets are responsible and respectful. Sadly, some are not, so we have strict Terms and Conditions which must be agreed to unreservedly for the safety of all our guests, others on our property, our property, our pets and our farm animals.

Calm, clean, docile, house trained, well behaved dogs are welcome inside but ONLY in their crates or on their own beds at the entrance to your cottage.

Your pet cannot wander throughout your accommodation or onto our furniture or beds.

Younger dogs can only be inside when in their crate.

Alternatively, your dog can be tied up outside your accommodation or sleep in your car if it is more comfortable.

Your pet must not share common guest areas or be interact with other guests who may not be pet lovers.

Your pet must not interact at all with our free roaming orphans, chickens and any other animals in our garden.

Your pet must be leashed and with you or in the vicinity of you at all times. It must never be left in your cottage unattended and there is no access to the shared Cook House for your dog.

There is an enclosed yard around Maxie’s Retreat that is perfect for mid sized to large dogs or young mid sized to larger sized dogs.

We will provide you with a copy of our agreed Pet Terms and Conditions on your arrival.

$25 per pet per night payable on arrival.

*** Please keep in mind that as much as we wish to include our dogs in our holidays, travelling with your mate
can severely limit your itinerary as they must be with you at all times and many sites do not allow dogs.
Travelling with your furry friend in the heat is also an important consideration.

Before or as soon as you make your own reservation please make your reservation request for our confirmation here.

Enjoy your surroundings with your dog

We invite our guests to explore our beautiful surroundings with their pets and on a lead at all times
as your pet and all our animals must be safe.

There are other farm animals as well as orphan joeys, free range chickens and ground nesting birds in the garden.

After a day in the car, enjoy a pushbike ride with your dog a farm walk…..always on the leash.

Our dogs are very friendly and will welcome your dogs.
